Obviously, I am not a super-active blog-writer. So check out Michael, who is!
Well, it is his job: Michael is the new host at german.about.com offering lots of
information and advice about learning German -esp. where to find help online.
Here the adress of an esp. useful post of his:

There, he writes - like me: in rather "German English" ;) - about preparing for A1,
but gives a lot of useful links that help at every level:
- How to find cheap German teachers (mostly in Germany, but instruction will often be online, anyway):
"If you can’t or don’t want to afford [a teacher], check italki or verbling or livemoccha for affordable tutors. Try three to five tutors and go for the one that makes the most competent impression."
-How to get written texts corrected for FREE:
"To get an evaluation of your writing skills I suggest that you send your work to the lang-8 community. It is free, though they have a premium subscription offer that pays off in case you need your texts to be corrected a bit faster. You need to correct other learners’ texts though to gain credits that you then can use to „pay“ for the correction of your work."
Check it out - and put your feedback in the COMMENT ;)
